2020 Mission & Vision Statement | Rhyval
Rhyval.com started because I wanted to display hope to a generation, a community, a world that is surrounded by negativity. I wanted to bring hope to the lives of those who feel lost, misunderstood, scared and numb. Hope is not on display as it should be. We don’t see it on social media or in news outlets.
That's why I made it my mission to inspire reasons for hope by speaking up against injustices & striving for greatness. I desire to be a catalyst in others lives; encouraging them to do the same. I hope to accomplish these goals via rhythm and poetry, inspiring aesthetic apparel, and ultimately launching a non-profit to provide mental health and life skills to urban communities nationally and internationally. I believe it’s not what you know or who you know, but what you do with what you got.
When I was young I learned I was born with two strikes against me in a three strikes system. In my young adult years I lost sight of hope fighting seasons of life that included alcoholism, homelessness, failed suicide, and divorce but a set back is a setup for a comeback and I was blessed with restoration in the process.
I have hope. Hope that it will change. Hope that the generations after me will not have to deal with what I’ve dealt with. I want Rhyval.com to be a breath of fresh air. A brand that is known for uniting communities. An organization that creates a domino effect of people inspiring hope in the lives of those around them.
I want to extend an offer to you so that you will join me as I embark on my mission to spread hope. I personally produce and ship all apparel directly so every purchase is supporting a black-owned/ veteran-owned/ Christian business.
